About usHere to redraw smiles
A neutral, local, non-governmental, non-profit organization in Erbil, working in humanitarian aid and community awareness.
Your neighbors in Erbil
Smile Organization for Development and Humanitarian Aid is a neutral, local, non-governmental and non-profit organization. Our home is Erbil, in the Shorash district, facing Mega Mall.
Our mission is simple to say and joyful to do. We help people with limited income, we spread health education among them, and we work to redraw a smile on their lips.
Everything we take on sits inside two fields: humanitarian aid and community awareness. Practical help when a family needs it most, and the kind of knowledge that keeps a household healthy long after the visit ends.

Two goals behind every project
Every course, caravan and basket we deliver serves one of these two general objectives.
Building a healthy society.
Working to secure a happy and healthy life for all families by implementing long-term projects and spreading health education.
Eight ways we spread smiles
- Spread happiness among citizens through audio-visual means and social media.
- Open courses, seminars and workshops that spread health and cultural awareness.
- Run mobile teams in areas where health awareness is weak, spreading the culture of family health and dental care.
- Keep a hotline open for permanent contact with citizens, so problems can be solved by phone.
- Coordinate with international organizations and government institutions to implement projects.
- Send mobile teams to spread happiness in hospitals, prisons, juvenile institutions and nursing homes.
- Hold a major celebration to spread the culture of dental health care.
- Provide aid to all individuals, families and regions suffering from humanitarian or natural disasters, without discrimination on the basis of language, religion, gender, color or thoughts.
